I think that the ability to shoot wherever you find yourself is the most important thing in photography. Making it happen under whatever condition of lighting and circumstance you find yourself, to get the best image. The ability to go out and experience, to wander and look and wonder, and in that moment capture an image that is engaging - that is the goal. But you have to get the image. The rest is just a good story.
The projects that I enjoy most are the ones where I get to experience new places, new perspectives, new entrees. There is so much to see. Those projects are the ones I’ve tried to highlight here, and they’re the ones I am always on the lookout for. I want to see what the world holds. I want to engage and have a conversation.
